I didn't actually spend a lot of time trying to figure out TGA files, but I opened them in quicktime, did a print screen, and did a paste into Paintshop Pro.

Irfan View is a free program taht will let you to view and mass convert tga files into something worth using.

TGA is adobe and about nothing else.

Fly is FASTER than sprint speed.

Fly, Super speed, Teleport, and Super leap are all balanced so that in a normal zone they can all get to the far side of the zone at the same time. Fly and leap go straight there over any obsticals, Speed is damn fast but has to follow streets etc, teleoprt is the fastest except halfway you need to take a break as your end runs out giving the other powers time to catch up.

I tested each of them alone in beta and they are all cool, but leap is the most fun really because its goofy fun to jump like that. Some people are saying that super speed and leap stack though!!!

Oh and the Dots before the server, the devs posted today that they represent Server population, NOT performance. Except in beta where they put everyone on one server with no instancing I have never had a problem with connections.

I doubt I will be on today but anyone in the guild can tag you.

And radiation is overpowered.

I mean hell, one AE power that reduces mobs damage output by 40%, decreses their defense, increases all damage done to them by 40%. Combine that with Acc metabolism and I outdamage blasters easy.

We definitely need to change our supergroup away from the homosexual look, hehe.

Interestingly enough, the game while having superb AI, and the best character creator ever, still has a lot of roots in Fantasy MMORPGs. The best setup is still a good DPS, healing, and Crowd Control Group.

Thanks for the links to the threads about the map server issue. Unfortunately their are no resolutions in the threads or posted by PlayNC. Thus far PlayNC is addressing the issue by ignoring it completely... very frustrating.

I'm positive it's not my machine; I'm pretty anal about maintaining all firmware and software updates. And I've tried numerous configurations on two different routers (SMC Barricade and Cisco 803) to no avail. I'm going to try adding static routes to http://www.coh.com tonight and see if that helps at all.

So far, this game blows goats.

Cool, thanks. One of these days I'll get offa' my ass and show off my builds. I spend unhealthy amounts of time designing new toons. For person who grew up as a wannabe comic artist, it's heaven.

My only (minor) complaint is the lack of options for jackets (dusters, lab coats, and an option for torn sleeves plz~), faces (a choice of frames for different face shapes to put the available skins over would be great), robot arms/legs (more, more, more!), and hairstyles with hats.

Otherwise, it's ACES (apologies to Gene Hackman)!

Team colors automatically dyes your skin and hair too?

I spend a lot of time playing with my color schemes at character creation, wouldn't want them all scrapped because I joined a "guild". I'd much rather have the option to just take on guild chest detail or something...

Would be even cooler if you could pick a new costume to be made with the guild colors. I mean, the X-Men have their blue and yellow suits, but they also have their individual suits too. Gimme gimme :P

You can turn on or off team colors.
Also have the option of just making your head/chest/legs ETC ETC the team color.
Its all up to you.

I found the worst villian of the game. The female on the left. She won't let me play while she's home. Doesn't want my life sucked away like EQ lol.

I PICKED THE TEAM COLORS!!! WORSHIP THEM!!!!

We can change them later too and you can turn each part on or off for yourself so noone forces you too use them. But if we ever group its just too cool to have 8 hot pink heart chested super heroes. Makes me feel like a cross between rainbow brite and the care bears fighting evil!!

Anyway, for allt he people who joined the first day and can add members here is a list of nameless members who need invites. If when you log on you can try to send them each atell and invite them we can get everyone together.

Oh and I am deleting The Pansy that I made before so will need a reinvite. I madesome sucky choices and he has a major bug anyway so I told the CSR that I was just going to delete him.

There is a cap atm of 75 members, if we reach that I know I am willing to drop a few alts. But I don't think we have to worry about it.

As for faces, capes, jackets etc. There will be more added with time but will not be adeed till they are "done and look right". Most in free upgrades when they get them done. In fact the first major patch is basicly what they planned for the first expansion, but they are so far ahead and well organized its done and going to be free. Its planned in ~ a month and adds a massive amount of game material, 2 new zones, raises the level cap to 50, adds the "Tailoring" system that will allow you to change your costume and add new costume features that are released, adds the "prisoner" defeat system rather than go to the hospital. There is also talk about the first "Skill system" in the game. Gaffer hade a few comments about "detective skills" being worked on but no concrete info.

Overall this game is great, plays well, great customer support (except apparently the above case

)

and instead of picking it up, you can actually just pay the money online and download it. Takes about an hour to download on Cable.

Ah, I see. Well then, that is most excellent. Thanks again for the info.

Pretty sure I've seen Lady and Bob running around town.

The rifle/device blaster I made yesterday (Black-Ops, on Justice) is up to 9 1/2'ish now. Most likely ding 10 before bed tonight, or tomorrow morning.
Probably don't need another blaster (so many blasters...), but if you do, I'd be glad to join you all.

Maybe I'll take another look into tankers, if you're really hurting for those.

I am off work the remainder of this week. I'll be on most of the time, send Pontiff a tell for an invite. We have plenty of spots for anything, we just don't have any tanker mains in the supergroup. There are only 8 of us in it right now.
