Yet you believe in them. You have faith that they exist based on "evidence" that may or may not prove one day to be true.

And this is an unarguable claim.

The usual phrasing in english would be you have 'faith' that God exists, I think. 'Know' usually indicates some sort of evidence, as in 'knowledge is justified true belief', a common definition. Given your statement above, I don't think 'know' is the proper term.

But there's no arguing about faith. Faith transcends fact and evidence.

No, evolution does. Evolution is a theory that not all scientists believe in. The key word is believe, as a belief is all it is.

Right, evolution is the accepted scientific explanation of the life we see around us. Some fringe cranks don't accept that explanation, but that's about as relevant to science as the cranks who think the Earth is flat, or 10000 years old, or that relativity theory is untrue, that they've invented a perpetual motion machine, or that HIV doesn't cause AIDS. Heck, name a scientific theory that DOESN'T have some nutbars writing letters to the paper claiming they've disproven it.

If you have faith that evolution is false, so be it. If you want to make scientific claims based on evidence that evolution is false, go for it, but be prepared to be laughed at, and don't whine about religious persecution when you get your ass handed to you on a plate.

In the bible it seems he never wanted mankind to know the difference between good and evil from the tree of knowledge. I would think that a god of goodness and love would want his creation to hold the ideal of telling the difference between good and evil as something of ultimate importance for them to know.

If there is no god, then we don't have an "eternal soul" to worry about. So no, I'm not the least bit concerned.

Prove that they exist without using science.

The Internet is not tangible, we interpert it as a singular thing, when in fact it is comprised of many tangible seperate occurances that we see through monitors. Just like black holes.

You don't see electricity itself, you see what it causes when it arcs. Similarly, you can feel it. Similar to a blackhole.

God and eternal souls are not mutally inclusive,

on-existance of one does not mean the other does not exist as well.
ie you can have eternals souls without there being a god and vica vera there can be god without external souls as well.

I would tend to believe there is no such thing as a "soul." That's just my belief, though. No proof that there is, no proof there is not. I'm going with the "not a soul."

Probably the general lack of evidence for the existence of souls.

But then you knew that, being wise far beyond your limited years and basic lack of education, right? Right?

Do you think souls exist?
