I got a satelite connection at my office and let me tell you it licks goat ass too. Any sort of precipitation in the air and you are hosed (helllllooo I am 30 miles from the gulf of mexico it rains here all the damn time) throw in some lightning and you can forget it completely. The latency is so damned bad that you sometimes have to wonder if you got a little prehistoric bird out on your roof pecking notes into a stone tablet ala Fred Flintstone. Sure the download speeds are ok (not nearly as good as cable, but speedy enough to call it broadband) but actually waiting on a page to start downloading is pure torture. All things considered you can have my cable modem when you take it from my cold dead fingers. :cool6:
