is there a reason why it keeps going off? normally it's random.. like every once a day or so, when i dont reboot often 2-3 box on eq2. but the last 2 days it's been happening more frequently.

what is the motherboard? but yeah possible driver issue like the esteemed gentleman said above me. Also check in bios some mobo's have two configurations for the sound SB compatible and another. try changing it.

Might not be compatible with Direct X. Check what kind you have.

for directx im pretty sure i got like 9.0.. or sumtin like that.

No idea if drivers are up to date. I didnt even know you could update on-board stuff heh. should i just go to like sound blaster live site? i think it's what i got on-board

as far as the mother board, im not too sure where to check for what one is it while using windows xp.
