Yankees are gay...

Where everyone discusses football, and two dorks try to pretend people actually like the NBA and spam what should be in PMs.

Chanting "Yankees Suck!" after every song is immensely satisfying.

Jun 28 The Orioles confirmed Monday that the Marlins contacted them last week about a trade that would send right-hander A.J. Burnett to Baltimore in a six-player deal that would bring reliever Jorge Julio and others to Florida, according to the Miami Herald.
Views: This is big news for those of you in AL-only leagues. If Burnett becomes available, you'll want to do everything in your power to acquire him. The other names being tossed around in the deal are Marlins outfielders Eric Reed and Juan Encarnacion and either Orioles pitcher Daniel Cabrera or Hayden Penn and an outfielder, most likely Larry BigBie.

Jun 28 The Marlins reportedly approached the Orioles last week with a proposal that would have sent Burnett and outfielder Juan Encarnacion, both potential free agents this winter, to Baltimore, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
Recommendation: In exchange, the Marlins would have received reliever Jorge Julio, outfielder Larry Bigbie and one of two young right-handers, Daniel Cabrera or Hayden Penn. Talks are thought to have been placed on hold, as the Orioles may also be considering dealing for Giants right-hander Jason Schmidt. Either way, from a fantasy perspective it will be interesting to see which high-profile players are involved in deals prior to the July 31 trade deadline that see them switch leagues.

Jun 28 The Miami Herald's Kevin Baxter reports the Baltimore Orioles confirmed they received a trade offer from the Florida Marlins that would send SP A.J. Burnett, OF Juan Encarnacion and Double-A OF Eric Reed to Baltimore for RP Jorge Julio, either SP Daniel Cabrera or SP Hayden Penn and OF Larry Bigbie. But, the source added, the talks have been on hold, and the Orioles also are pursuing other options.

Hmmm...Larry Bigbie AND Daniel Cabrera...I don't like it...

Bigbie has a BEAUTIFUL swing and is athletic as hell...and Cabrera is so young and has a very good arm...

:dunno:

I never really liked baseball, the only games I ever watched were from the ALCS etc. and the world series.

I find myself watching regular season games now...it's weird.

There's a bulls team in basketball?

I'm a hometown team kind of guy. I root for who is closest to home (aka boston, the ever living suck of sports up until the Sox recently)

Definitely true with the Yanks. But I bet everyone and their mother was a Bulls fan in the mid-late 90's!

Personally, I have been a Yankee fan since 1984 aka Donnie Baseball. Knicks fan since the Ewing days. Still love my Yanks and Knicks!

2. The Cheers Bar=Everyone knows your name (theme song)

Sorry Tadpole but I dont think the return of Lopez and Bedard is going to help the Orioles at all. Their pitching is horrid. Sammy Sosa is so bad this year... luckily for Baltimore, he waived the 18 mil for next year. By the all stars break, the Yankees will pass the Orioles into second place.
