Hot dogs eating contest
Kobayashi won the contest again. He ate 49 in 12 minutes. Unbelievable. The guy is like 5-6 and 150 lbs at most. He out ate a bunch of big fat guys. The announcers said that he didnt break his own record of 53 1/2 dogs from last year.
The second place finisher was a woman who weigh like 110 lbs. She ate 37 hot dogs. I guess to win these contest you have to be small and light. None of the big fat guys come close to these two.

The people who do those contests are so ridiculously unhealthy, though.. it isn't like they go in after weeks of eating like a normal person, they down gallons of water and purge them to stretch their stomachs out.. they're professional bulemics, basically
Impressive how much they can swallow in what amount of time, but jesus christ

There was some study on this. The overweight people have a ring of fat around their middles that doesn't allow their stomachs to expand, whereas the thin people only have muscle there and it basically lets them expand that area tenfold.
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

Yeah I guess it's cheating when people practice running at high altitudes before the olympics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
No that isn't cheating that's training. And hot dog eating contests are hardly comparable to the olympics.

Ok. Last night after the firework show, a few of my friends and I decided to have a hot dog eating contest of our own. We headed to Wienerschnitzel and bought a bunch of chili cheese dogs. I ate 5 .... the winner ate 14. I think we would ate more if we didnt had the big BBQ and a bunch of beers earlier, but i still dont think any one of us would come close to 49 like that japanese guy in new york.

They purge before hand - I'm not sure the exact rules of the contest, but I'm fairly sure that's completely legal as it's a pretty common tactic. I'm unsure of post-contest-puking or the rules applied to that.
Generally, the purging is downing gallons and gallons of water to stretch your stomach out as far as it can go, then puking the water out so that your stomach is stretched as if you're full, but empty so you can cram stuff in there.

The idea of being famous is enough for most people to do almost anything. Even if that fame is very limited. Fear Factor and other Reality shows come to mind.

Harrison, please stop posting at everyone's "rescue." Mine at least. Mapp's post was funny, I lol'ed at his sarcasm and !!!!!!'s, but my response wasn't to argue. It was a response-that's it, nothing more. I, unlike so many of you just post for my entertaiment and not to constantly see who I can be a bitch to. Lighten the fuck up already-you used to post for what seemed to be the purpose of having fun and it was too bad how people were so bitchy to you. Now you're just the same way, always starting shit.
You've got taxx who's always taxx, bitching people out for blogging when he's, in the same thread might I add, basically IM'ing back and forth with IF, not that I care, but my point is that if someone else did it he'd tell them to stfu and "ever heard of pm's?"
you and mindia, brinstar mapp and drem are constantly going around and around. it's really quite annoying, and if anyone else hasn't noticed, this board is slowing rapidly and it's no wonder. I have fun here. Leave me alone, I don't break the rules and I certainly don't act like an ass. (most of the time.)
