1gb vs 2gb of RAM....

Trying to decide. I've read that the 2gb will only help me with video editing etc... and that it could actually slow me down as far as gaming. ATM I'm running a d865perl Intel Mobo with 2x512's in dual channel. I want to add another 2x512 set increasing to 2gb total. I'm only playing CS:Source, BF2, and FPS's, with occasional dapping into MMO's. Any advice?

Buy the other 1GB of RAM and send it to me. I heard that it will actually improve my gaming.

going from 2 slots of ram, to 4 slots will increase the latency


It's not going to be a huge jump, but if you're one of the 1% gamers, you might notice a diff


for video edit'ing, there's no such thing as too much ram
