Greatest hockey line of all time

What do you think was the greatest forward line of all time?

all-star games, olympics, etc don't count.

Just legit club team lines

Tikkanen - Gretzky - Kurri

Anderson - Messier - Simpson

Linday - Howe - Abel

Kharlomov - Larionov - Makarov

Hull - Oates - random dude

etc

#1 for me is the gretzky line, followed by the howe-lindsay-abel line

lemieux had some good lines in pittsburg, I would take mario + motivated jagr and whatever they put on that line (tocchet?) over the gretzky line. They didn't really have the time together to be known as aline though.

One of the best ever has to be shutt lafleur and lemaire though and i would think players like bernie geoffrion, maurice richard should be mentionned too

Messier, Graves, and Gardner was a very good line for the 94 Rangers.

I'm a huge messier fan, and I like graves too, but that wouldn't even rank in the top 100 lines in all likelyhood

Kevin Stevens or Martin Straka. I was a big fan of Pitt back in the Lemieux golden years.

I don't think you can really put lemiux/jagr/whoever in the category
They didn't consistently play together, otherwise the greatest line of all time would be Gretzky, messier, kurri

the #1 all time score, the #2 all time scorer, and top 3 playoff scorers of all time

they just weren't consistently skating together

It was clearly an oversite to not have the montreal lines on the list (but i hate montreal, so it's justified!)

Another great line would have to be Trottier, bourne, gilles
