I think Franz Beckenbauer is third best of all time with Pele at 1 and Maradona at 2.

Really depends on how you look at it. Beckenbauer may not have been the force on offence that Pele and especially Maradona was but in the back field there has never been anyone even close. I would say those 3 are definiatly the top 3 though. Order could be debated for ages though.
