Ok, so not an axe murderer, but apparently Ms. Rader doesn't want to be married to a serial killer. You'd think she could have simply filed under irreconcilable differences though.

What Jesus actually said was this: Matthew 5:32 (NIV) "But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery."

"Unfaithfulness" in this context does not just mean adultery. It is comprehensive of all the wedding vows. If a man beats his woman he is being "unfaithful" to his wedding vows, thus a woman may divorce her husband on those grounds and will not be punished by God for it.

If you read that again, Mindia, it says absolutely nothing about women being able to divorce for any reason.

I wasnt allowed to get married in my church because I got divorced and it wasnt because of adultry.
They wouldnt accept the fact that he was gay. Am I supposed to remain married to a gay man? I wasnt getting laid anymore, and if I was it was bad, so no sir.

I gave him the mental finger and walked out.
