I have a question I've been looking around and can't find anything. Does anyone know if there is a server where RoK and SoV are the only expansions allowed? Thanks.

It was Winter's Roar, which wasn't really a server, per se, as I understood it. It was an emulated server, run without Sony's permission. It has since been shut down, if I recall.

Crap, really? =/ I imagine you at least need to have EQ installed, though, right? I didn't have that done either.

It wasn't a server like The Nameless was... it wasn't sponsored by Sony (which is why they had to shut it down). The guild thing is a decent idea... but did they ever fix the boats? I thought that you pretty much needed POK or a porting druid/wizard to get around because the boats were broken. Did they put a cap on levels too? I wonder how they could enforce people only leveling to 60 (60 with SOL, right?), when the 60s would get exp with raids and such.

Oh, that's right you lose exp when you die in EQ. Never mind.

I wasn't talking about the emulator. I was talking about an actual SOE EQ accounted guild on some server or other that was only doing certain expansions.

Someone tried to do it on our server, THC or something. It never left the ground though.

Lang's right ... the last couple times I tried to talk to you, you were very rude and insulting to me for no other reason I could tell than that you were mad at Ugzug. But I got over it. Glad to hear you're doing well. Hopefully you're getting to experience some of Europe rather than just sailing around it.
