O's fire Mazzilli

Not a surprise, as they have been horrible since the all-star game. I thought to myself last night after they lost again to the LAA, will Mazzilli be fired soon? Guess so :cry:

Kind of hard to win when your ball club is built around hitting and they haven't been hitting. The pitching has just been atrocious to say the least.

Not a huge surprise that this happened. Mazzilli is a great guy, and very good manager. Its too bad the fall guy is Mazzilli, somebody had too. Front office just doesnt understand this team was playing WAY above their pre season projections.

I dont think it's Mazzili's fault that the Orioles are free falling. The management didnt help him out any with all the injuries and crappy starting pitching.

thank god, maybe next year they wont hire a manager with loyalties to the players and more loyalty to winning.

if i see steve kline come in a relief situation ever again i am giving up on the O's
