Cong Steve Young, Dan Marino, Fritz Pollard, Benny Friedman

Good list of gentlemen that entered the Hall of Fame earlier this afternoon. My man Dan Marino, the best QB of all-time (he might not have had the team around him to win a Super Bowl, but he did put up the best numbers as a QB and produced the best), Steve Young, Fritz Pollard, and Benny Friedman all deserved to get in. Congratulations.

You also need a good surrounding cast for that to happen, which Marino often did not have.

He is the best QB to play the game. He had shit for a running game and a mediocre defense (until the late 90s) and still put up awesome statistics.

Of course, he also had generally terrific wide receivers. The weak running game may well have elevated his passing numbers...
