That reminds me of time i would sit in Kelethin near the lifts, when i saw a newbie running by to the lift i would stand up and cast SoW on him, if i timed it right i would see the message that "newb_001" has fallen to his death.

I think I did that to Blurzz or some other annoying monk and had Tigole and a few others gank them for a while. It was fun.

I can't remember the name, was selo's of some sort tho

the one that added run speed, invis, and lev

anyhoo, you'd group with a n00b in kelethin, after them ooh'ing and aah'ing at you running in mid air from platform to platform

you'd then be nice, and invite them to your group, and teach them how to run from platform to platform

you'd then be extra helpful and tell them that if they wanted to go faster, they needed to push "A" to accelerate

this of course turned attack on, the invis/lev off and let them plumet to their death from high above Kelethin

the bonus to all this, was that they'd usually completely lose their body

I can't remember who the mage was, but I had Manalope send me an invite in freeport and we kicked this paladin's ass over and over again...then I logged to my cleric and vinshayr appeared in the arena, so I nuked him.

Lol, since we are telling war stories, one day Ralf (aka Mavricke) and I kept VS at the KC zone line by trading off FD flopping for like 45min. Oh the carnage was beautiful.

Shortly there after the faggot Kahil (GM) showed up and nerfed our names as punishment. (We were Cheechh and Chongg).

I don't think I'll ever forget that when I was flopped this mage was casting and running past us at the same time...

The way the toon moved his arms it looked like he was running and screaming in terror flailing about.

ahhh good times. Nothing can compare to early EQ.

I remember a few times going after the T-staff and when I was done just for shits and giggles waiting for a full doggy respawn... then just pulling them and basically every trash mob I could get to the zone and watching the zone go from like 80 people down to one or two.

mebudda had the best record in LDON, i think he was even better then mudcrush in a few.....now mudcrush theres a fucking peice of work. Mebudda was an pretty good player, however you invited him, he could not follow directions for the life of him, he wanted to lead, so got disbanded from the group I invited him too, and put on ignore. I think i voted no on his rememdy app too! ha!

And beardo had so many chracters it wasnt funny, all very twinked. I still remember the day beardo put 850k in my trade window thinking he was bad ass, and had all the plat, only to say "i have more in my bank account, wait here" when i put 900k back up.......ahh the days.

Yes. He was turned down by LoS on more than three or four occassions too. Back when I was a BoT grinding newbie with less than 10 aa's, he'd shout for a secondary healer... I'd respond politely requesting his vacant spot. He'd ask if I had canni five, I'd say "no, not yet... but hopefully within the next couple of hours." He said, and I quote: "haha you newblet fuck off."

Roughly 6 months and 500ish aa's later w/ a <Legacy of Steel> tag above my head, he sent me a tell requesting an application to the guild or to be forwarded to the proper person who could accept such an app to the guild. I asked him if he was flagged through PoP/GoD to which he responded with a polite no. ~> "haha you newblet fuck off."

That's about the extent of my experience with this retard. :p

My understanding was that he was severly retarded from an accident, which was why he was always playing EQ. Granted you can never believe what most people told you. He was a great player, but he was always so god damned annoying when it came to gear.
