Now I doubt I'm going to get much feedback here at all, but I figure it's worth a shot - please don't turn this into a flame, I'm just trying to help people! Some of you have known me for years, and since I consider a lot of you true friends just the same as my RL friends, it doesn't hurt to try!

Next week, I will be participating in an annual bowling tournament to benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation, and I need sponsors.

The Make-A-Wish foundation has been around for 25 years – the organization focuses granting wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses. You can read more about them at http://www.wish.org

This is the 7th Annual tournament, and the second one I’ve participated in. A quick summary of how the sponsorship works – when you sign up, there’s a space for a Flat donation or a Per Pin donation. There, I'll fill in the amount you’d like to donate depending on which type of donation you’d like to make.

The sponsor list is due by next Friday (August 19, the day of the tournament.) However, donations aren’t due until the 31st.

If you choose to donate per pin, I’ll send a PM on Monday saying what my score was.

If you have any questions or wish to sign up, PM me and I'll give you mailing info or however else you'd want to donate (paypal or whatever.) Checks would be made payable to the Make A Wish foundation.

If you think I'm absolutely retarded for making this post, don't be mean about it, just don't donate =b But, if you're feeling generous (or if you don't give a shit about the kids, but you want a tax write-off!) I'd greatly appreciate it.

Actually how many games is it? And what is your average?

I was just getting ready to PM you to tell you you were nuts =)

I forgot to mention that there's 3 games. My average isn't good at all, it used to be around 150, but now it's around 130 - so if I got 130 3 times (which is unlikely, it's off season for the league right now so I'm rusty) it would be a 390 total, then that would be multiplied by whatever the per pin donation was.. say 10 cents a pin, which would make the total 39 bucks

I hope that clears it up.. sorry it's Friday, my week is almost over and my head is all over the place!

remember, flat donations can be made too.. so if you wanna just say "10 bucks" or whatever instead of waiting to see how crappy I do, that works also

Adam - they say per pin on the thing, but really it's per point =p and that's not true, there's 120 pins per game! if you get 3 strikes in the final frame anyway =p

how do I get you a receipt Minrott.. I'm not sure how that stuff works >< I just know I collect the money and give it to the company that's heading up the shindig and they give it to the foundation
