So get this...


A guy from jamaica buys a computer from my company. We correspond with this guy and his english is great seems legit etc.. We get a check from him, cash it and my fucking stupid ass bank Washington Mutual confirms with me on the phone that the check has cleared. This whole process takes two entire weeks from the date we cashed it.

They used the exact words "cleared" too. Well we go to send the package and BAM the check bounces the very next day.... I call WAMU back and get the original rep on the phone and her boss and just lay into them both. After about an hour of total bullshit excuses the boss FINALLY tells me that Washington Mutual has really no idea if a check has cleared, that is just the term they use once they release the money.

They proceed to tell me that the only people who really know that information is their internal auditing office which isn't attached to anyone's bank accounts, even the people like me who have business accounts with them. (we've deposited over 400k in their bank at this point, ie: we're not small time.)

I was fucking floored. I seriously couldn't believe it. A bank has no idea whether a check has really cleared.. ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS? !

They also told me that these international banks can issue the money to their bank and then pull the money back as much as four to six WEEKS after the check has been deposited.

BE FUCKING WARNED!

So after all this we drive to the the USPS Los Angeles office and fight with the post office workers for two hours and finally get our package back before it gets put on a ship bound for Jamaica....

So by the skin of my ass I don't get scammed and keep my 2 thousand dollars...

Here is where things get good...

After all this wasted time and money I have decided to fucking own this dirty jamaican piece of shit nigger...

I just reshipped a new Dell computer box to him with some bubble wrapped rocks and a big message reading:

"fuck you, you black piece of shit... We sincerely hope you enjoyed paying 400 dollars of customs fees for a box of rocks.....mutherfucker nigger".

Said and done I wish I could send some pipe hittin' niggers to get medieval on this motherfucker because I'm still really pissed off, but this is definitely going to ruin his week. 400 bucks to these clowns is a godamn lot of money wasted.

Another thing... People go off about the word "nigger" like its some really bad thing... but they haven't dealt with people like this.. These pieces of shit earn the fucking title. I have sold countless thousands of dollars to Canada, all over Europe and the US and have never been scammed. Every single day I have scammers from South Africa, Nigeria and now Jamaica fucking with me... and what do they have in common? All BLACK.

Doing business electronically is even more dangerous with these countries. They use stolen credit cards, do chargebacks etc and the credit card companies are always and I mean always on the side of the customer.

The safest way to do business internationally I was told is through cashier's checks. You have to get the check, call on it and make sure it's legit then sit on it for at least 14 business days.

As of today the new companies policy is to only do business with Canada and the US. We are going to lose 6 percent of our customer base, but the problems with international customers are more time consuming and lose us more money than they make.

I wish I could see that monkey's fucking face after he shells out his money for customs charges and opens the box to see a bunch of rocks.

So you have a customer who writes you acheck for a computer. The check bounces and your immediate reaction is, OMFG your trying to screw me, well now your going to get yours.

Rather then the sencable reaction. You know, contact teh customer and say "There was a problem with your payment, please choose a different form of payment and as soon as we recieve payment your computer will be shipped to you."

The 2 primary people a fault here is your and your bank. You shouldn't have shipped the package until the $$ was actually in your account available to you and the bank should not have missinformed you about the status of the check.

Instead you intentional now try to screw over somone who may very well not be at fault at all. Hell for all you know the problem was a bank error on the customers side.

Therefore it IS my bank's fault for depositing the money and then telling me the transaction was complete and without error. It's also Abraham Lincoln's fault for freeing the slaves. Had he been shot earlier black people wouldn't have email accounts and internet access.

well excuse me, you only gave half the story and left out the rather important parts. They way you originally posted you come off as a raving racist idiot. First of all you said you called the bank and they said it cleared, does that mean you actually saw the funds in your account and you had the ability to withdraw them at will? Those are 2 very different things.

You also never said anything about the customer doing a 180 on you. had you mentioned that I would have completely agreed somone tried to fuck you over and desirved anything they got in return.

Not to support much of anything being said here, but they are not the same thing. Racism has to do with having a bias for or against a particular race that may, or more likely may not, be grounded in any kind of fact. Racial profiling (or any kind of profiling for that matter) is simply looking at a particular group and analyzing them based on statisitics and facts and comparing them to other groups. Although nobody in our PC society wants to hear it, there are most definitely profiles out there for different races, genders and cultures that are representative of the group as a whole.

Doesn't make any particular group good or bad- it's simply a profile of who they are.

Here's my dizzle... I gave my overseas neighbors a chance, but my experience told me that their were enough problems from my foreign black customers to make it not worth my time to sell to them anymore. The scenario I described is actually just the last of a bunch of attempts at fraud.

Does that mean I walk around and cringe when I see a black person? No not really. Do I go out of my way to be a prick to them? No, not worth the time. Do I see distinct and predictable behavior from them? Hell yes.
