I don't know the head guy at MAW, I'm doing it with a tournament with AQS who then sends the money, so I have to talk to that guy there =p

I hope that makes sense ><

Nope, copy of the written check, and then a copy of your statement if you are worried about tax purposes.

AND you can order any check to be returned to you, although it would be easier to just get a receipt.

**My CFO at work just told me that for tax kinda stuff just a generic receipt is fine, and that I know I can do - if you guys want one directly from the company though (I mean for reassurance purposes, I know trusting people over the intraweb can be tough) I hope to find out what I can do about that on Monday

as for all the people PMing about when I need the money by.. like I said in the first post, I have to turn it in by the 31st - since obviously it would need to be mailed, I'd think try to get it in the mail by the 22nd, I'll post the scores on the 19th

Just please remember if you have doubts about your donation and can't send it for whatever reason, let me know before the 19th as that's when I have to turn the donor list in. If you want to send your donation by the 19th that would be great too so I can already mark you as paid (that'll only work for the flat donors though)

Again, you guys are fantastic.. I can't believe the response I've gotten. <3!

You can, but for people's personal reassurance I'd say it's best to go with a check, because the paypal would have to come to me, and I would give cash to them whereas the check can be written directly to the foundation

I just don't want people to be weary about where their money is going

The sponsor list is due by next Friday (August 19, the day of the tournament.) However, donations aren’t due until the 31st.

If you choose to donate per pin, I’ll send a PM on Monday saying what my score was.

If you have any questions or wish to sign up, PM me and I'll give you mailing info or however else you'd want to donate (paypal or whatever.) Checks would be made payable to the Make A Wish foundation.

If you think I'm absolutely retarded for making this post, don't be mean about it, just don't donate =b But, if you're feeling generous (or if you don't give a shit about the kids, but you want a tax write-off!) I'd greatly appreciate it.

A side note, if people are concerned with mailing the check too early, you can always post-date it to the 31st.
