Bin Ladens to Build World's Largest Skyscraper The Bin Laden family, whose notorious son Osama is linked to the destruction of the World Trade Center, plans to build the world's largest skyscraper. The building is to be half a mile high and located in Dubai. If everything goes to plan and the project is completed by 2008, it will be a third bigger than the world's largest skyscraper, the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A 2 million square foot mall is to be added to the project. Excavation has already begun and the project has the name Burj Dubai. The skyscraper is to hold entertainment centers, a hotel area, apartments, office space and eateries. Dubai already has the only 7 star hotel and the largest man made island.
