Service and repair center programs

Postby kaharthemad » Thu Aug 18, 2005 4:22 pm

I have been looking to streamline my productivity here at my office. I am looking for a serivce call program that can track my repair sheets, timesheets, Service calls, customer database and possibly inventory. I have been considering trying to do this beast in access but I figured I would ask around and see if any of you tech junkies have a datbase program I can scarf or perhaps assist me in building something.

The place I do some contract work for has a custom built app. It's pretty slick and I know they plan on marketing it once it's finished but you can count on paying huge $$$ for it. There is an entire industry built on exactly what you are looking for.

PHP for the win.
For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.

Get off of Windows and have a small Linux server and you can set stuff like this up for free, easily, Kahar.

Sourceforge is your friend.

Try something like this
