iPod Question

Post by Ginzburgh »

I just got an iPod. I am using iTunes to import my songs.

Am I restricted to iTunes on my main computer. I brought my iPod to a friends house yesterday and when I plugged it in and turned his iTunes on it said that my "iPod is bound to another machine, do you want to bind it to this machine? Doing so will erase your current library".

Is there any way to bound an iPod from machine to machine while keeping all your songs intact?

Not that I know of. I've tried using mine with my other machine and my laptop - no go. It's designed to keep people from "trading music files..." As far as I know there's no way to bind an iPod to multiple machines - but if someone finds a way I hope they post it.
