Few questions

Can the priest archetype still solo?

I am steering away from fighter, for obvious population issues.

Scout is my second choice...anything I should know about it?

Mage is my last choice from Priest > Scout > Mage...

I've never liked that class in any game really...

As of right now I'd say priest is the better soloer, scouts are supossed to get a big damage boost in the upcoming combat changes. Now where priests will still be able to solo after the big patch I can't say but they will never have trouble finding groups.

As a level 50 Templar I can solo quite well. Warlocks are no doubt the best soloers.

Afte the combat revamp things will be a lot different so I have no idea what class to suggest.

Wouldnt worry about it too much Harrison. There is supposedly plenty of 'solo' content in the game now, killable by whatever class you pick. With the revamp around the corner cant really answer these questions too well anyway. Just play what sounds cool and Im sure youll be able to handle the solo flagged content np.

Plus even not for solo, everyone wants a healer..easy groups

Preists can solo for steady safe exp in the revamp. Its not fast as other classes though simpoly because of the low DPS.

They have added a stupid amount of solo content to the game. The downtiering a few months ago turned 95% of all aoutdoor zones into solo encounters. Plus more than half the instances are solo con in the game.

They went so far they are re-upping some mobs so that only 70% of the outdoor zones are solo con mobs.

For socuts I would say a Dirge is the best soloer and is loved in a group now. All the other scouts have positional attacks making solo less than efficient. Dirges only have one sneak attack (and they have a better opening attack anyway) and one backstab so most of their damage can be done head on.
