Boy.....such a to do about a little word.

Back to your post about the leukemia patients. Boy, it's good that the Italian Red Cross betrayed the trust the US troops put in them by passing people thru the checkpoints cuz we sure as heck wouldn't have taken them in and given them treatment.

Your claim was that others were treating Italy as if they were traitors. I was pointing out that nobody here expressed any such belief. Nobody's accused them of any behavior that might be reasonably described as traitorous.

You’re a linguist AND a mind reader now Xao?

No mind reading required. You clearly stated "Don't treat them like traitors, treat them like morons." I have no idea what anyone else might have thought about Italy's actions, which is why I used the terms "expressed" and "accused".

Who's claiming to be the mind reader now? Even if we assume that Mart simply tossed the rolling eyes in at the end of the post for the sake of aesthetics, it's a page after your claim.

She couldn't have been implying that the US troops would have ACTUALLY helped the cancer ridden children.

Nope. They're part of the evil US government. They don't do that!

If you don't think for a minute that US troops didn't check all their boxes and bundles as thoroughly as they should have because they were the Red Cross you're living in a dream world. Therefore they betrayed the trust the US troops placed in them.

Yes, I'm behind on this argument....busy day.

Would you go so far as to say their breach of trust is traitorous, Mart?

Depends on your definition of traitor. If you mean a person who betrays their country, then that's obviously a no. However, if you mean a person who betrays a trust, then I'd have to say yes.

I'd say that the Italian Red Cross will pay dearly for this breach of trust. I can virtually guarantee that not a box of crackers will pass thru checkpoints after this without a proctol exam and I'm just as sure that inspections will probably take 3 times as long as they should.

It would only have been a victory if Mart had posted that before your initial claim.

Anyways back to the post.

What they did is wrong no matter how you slice it, aside from ignoring consequence. There are four more healthy, car bombing terrorists alive and well in iraq right now. They saved two women and the bombs these assholes are building are killing dozens at a time. If you cant feel sorry for the grunt who's hummer gets torched, or his mother who lives down your street, feel sorry for the child walking to the store who gets burned alive by one of these fuckers.

Didn't you get the memo Guntaag? Those terrorists/fuckers(as you refer to them) are Freedom fighters man, FREEDOM FIGHTERS! Cindy told me so over spam email. Also, we're using these new cover sheets on all TPS reports so if you could go ahead and do that, that'd be great...

I think I missed some point in this thread...but it'll have to wait until tomorrow for me to re-read and see it.

I think we should burn down the Burning Man Festival in Nevada. You know, cut back on the stoner/liberal/hippy population a bit.
