Switching Professions Specialty.

I chose Tribal without giving it much thought, but I kinda think Elemental is the way to go.

Any way of switching without starting all over from 0?

You can't change it, unfortunately. I'm dragonscale and really have zero use for it now that the market is full of the blue/black armor pieces. I made some money on it back in the day - but now it's totally useless.

I'm assuming, though, that if you drop the profession completely and start over you could. Haven't tried it though.

No, you can't. Once you pick a specialty, that's it, you are forever locked into that specialty.

There was a thread on this on the general boards a while back, someone had gone Goblin engineering and wanted to switch to Gnome, so he completely dropped engineering, re-built it back up, but found he was still a Goblin engineer, and couldn't go gnomish. The response was that yes, this is how it is intended to work, once you pick, that's it. They gave a fluff/RP reason for it, but nothing more substantial.

So, sorry, Zan, but you're Tribal for all eternity.

300 LW, and I still havn't spec'ed. Holding out in case Dragonscale changes to become worthwhile someday.

Best use I've found for LW so far is making Wicked Leather Headbands for my alt to disenchant~
I don't need no instructions to know how to ROCK!
