If you look on the CoH map it shows you where stores are. It doesn't tell you waht they sell though. I do know where the Mutant/Magic, Mutant/Science DO's are sold in Steel Canyon. Not sure on lvl needed to use them. It might be 13 or 12 even.

lvl 12 to use the DO lvl 15 enhancers.

HOWEVER!

Lvl 12-20 influence is very tight. If you upgrade all your enhancements to DO as soona s you can you are going to reach lvl 18 with quite a few lvl 15 enhancers still on your toon and thats a major problem.

lvl 20+ (well except for the drop bug that they are fixing for 25-29) yo will have more inf than you know what to do with, but before then, only change teh most important powers to DO.

Yeah, I've got all lvl 10++ generic enhancements in every slot at the moment (on a lvl 11 hero), and about 17k influence (iirc), but from what I've heard the DO's are really expensive (like 3k-5k or more).

Also, from what I've been reading over on MB, DO's and even the SO's don't make a very big difference under level 20 (at least), so I may not blow any influence on them just yet.

Depends ont eh power. DOs make a huge difference for some powers.

Dos are always double the power of generics. For a power taht does 10 points of damage, a generic would increase it to 11, a DO would raise it to 12. So pretty useless there.

However, for a power that has a 10 minute recast time, ageneric would reduce it 8% and a DO by 16. Thats a major difference.

I put all DOs on my long recast powers but left my damage powers alone.

Yeah, that's about what I've been hearing so far. Probably going to buy some lvl 15 reuse reducers (which will probably break my bank).

Any idea how efficient the accuracy and end. reduc. DO's might be, or will it an almost unnoticable improvement, like with damage (and defense buff and movement bonuses, from what I've read).

Depends on the cost of the power before its used.

Since they add or subtract a straight % a low end power you will see almost no change to.

At first its best to only put DOs (then later sos) on the highest damage, highest recharge, and highest end cost powers. Thats where they make the most difference.

Speaking of options, one odd thing about this game is that you cannot turn off particle effects. And particle effects in this game are BIG.

It is impressive that they have them forced on for everyone and the game runs so damn well though, but when you have 16 spammy heroes together, and a controller spamming AE blind its hard to see.

They able to do it by leting you see particles generated on your own pc, you can see it when grav controler uses propel and each person in group sees difrent item being thrown at mob since it's randomly generated on their pc, that realy cuts lag down, they also send power info to server as you hit button, and execute spell effects grafix afterwards, not before like eq did so even when you lagin your spells hit on time.

one thing that is weerd to me is inability to target yourself
