Im not going to be surprised if the clusterfuck of the delay and such ends up being mostly on the shoulders of the governor and the local authorities.

Also, my parents live in Gretna, a nice community, and are your typical racist, classist people. Gretna police blocked every exit to gretna on the expressway from new orleans, and police have blocked the bridge over to the west bank. Gretna is dry, and power even starting to come back on.

Also, the Westbank is basically totally 100% looted already.

I mean, I understand them not wanting their neighborhoods destroyed, but blocking anyone from leaving downtown is leaving a very bad taste in my mouth.
