Never thought I would see the day I would quit EQ unless EQ itself was shutdown, but here it is.

EQ just hasnt been all that fun for me lately. Was guilded with LoS and had a blast with them for the 6 months I was there. Went on vacation for 2 weeks, came back, tried out WoW Beta... and discovered that I had no desire to login to EQ anymore. WoW has been so much fun to play. Its new, it exciting, and more importantly, I am having fun playing it.

To everyone that I knew and interacted with and to all the people that were my friends and "family" (you guys know who you are). I will miss you greatly. It was so hard today, but I uninstalled EQ with no intention of ever installing it again. The trash that EQ has become was a factor as well. Unfinished content, lack of customer service, a company that gives not a damn what their players say, is just not something I want to be apart of. I certainly dont want to grind another 5 or 10 levels and new AA with the next broken expansion coming out, and I have no desire to even worry about Epic 2.0. For me, sitting in one spot killing the same things over and over again is just not fun for me anymore. With WoW, I at least have something to do each day whether it be quests or just exploring.

Well, didnt mean to ramble on like I did. Farewell to everyone, I will certainly miss you all.

It was fun dude back in the day of you buffing for those naggy raids n shit. Then didn't see you for awhile then you came back from legends and stuff. Was great knowing you and hope to see you in WoW. Welcome to RL~
