Hello, My Name Is Josh
Okay, for over 2 months when I load Everquest from my desktop this same message comes up:
This application has failed to start because d3d9.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. On the top it says eqgame.exe -Unable to locate component and it is a red circle with a white X in it
This is all I know I hope you can help me
I really need help and I've asked tons of people who direct me to Techsupport, I havnt gotten an answer and most people ignore me. If there is no hope plz tell me and i'll move on to a new game, if there is plz tell me how and I will stay on Everquest.
Note:I have tried uninstalling and installing EQ several times, no luck
I've needed help for over 2 months

Yes, this would definitely lead me to believe you need to install DX9.0b.

when you go to download it use the 'open' option if ya suck at puters, its an .exe and will run itself and do what its gotta do. probably ask you to restart the computer when its finished, then you should be done and ready to go.
if you saved it, just go to whereever you saved it at and run the program.
