I want to eat the last of something...
Like the very last of an ultra-endangered animal, I want to eat it. I don't care if it could reproduce dozens more of its kind and renew its species. I want to make something go extinct. That would rule.

Tossica: No, you're gay because you suck on cocks.
Darcler:

If you want to have the rarest of the rare, get yourself to Siberia. Some of the animals frozen in the permafrost since the last ice age are well enough preserved that the meat is still good. According to my Paleontology professor, a couple years ago, the last time they found one like that, they had a conference in Moscow, and invited a couple hundred of the worlds most eminent paleontologists, where they all got to eat Wooly Mammoth steaks.
Doesn't get much more outlandish than eating something that's been extinct for several thousand years...

Live octopi:
Video Clip #1
Video Clip #2
I haven't tried it personally, but from reading about the experience, one complaint has been that the octopi sometimes put up a fight going down as you will feel the tentacles cling to your throat.

I've had ostrich meat, in a burger. It's like the most tender sirloin burger you'll ever have, but I am apparently allergic to ostrich because I almost stopped breathing after I had it.

Completely untrue, take this from a coastal resident.
Octupus/Squid are both VERY good fried foods! I have never seen what occurs in those videos.

Well I would assume that they don't move once they've been deep fried, however, the octopi appear to be served raw in those videos.
I assume the tentacles were cut before the animal was killed. I have seen firsthand that a good bite between the eyes kills the thing instantly and it ceases movement immediately. However, if the tentacles are cut before it's dead, they will still wiggle around a bit.
The only thing I can think of watching that first video is "gagh."
Riker: This is "gagh," isn't it?
Klag: Very good. You did some research on our nutritional choices.
Riker: Yes... but this is still moving.
Klag: "Gagh" is always best when served live. Would you like something "easier"?
Riker: Easier?
Klag: If Klingon food is too strong for you, perhaps I could get one of the females to breast feed you.

Tried venison a couple times, didn't care for it. Too gamey.
I am willing to bet you had a nice big buck. You don't want to do that, you want to go for the little tender bambi style ones. The bucks are very gamey.

Dunno what they used. Last time, I ordered it at a really good German restaurant in the area. Couldn't tell you what sort of deer they got it from. I will say that it was very well prepared, and everything else I've eaten there is amazing (potato pancakes to DIE for), so I am disinclined to suspect anything but the base nature of the meat.
