Battle Between the Sexes

My Office is having a dispute. A few of the guys here (ages ranging from 18-24) think that is perfectly okay for a guy and a girl to be just fuckbuddies, and they think that women feel the same way. The ladies here (ranging from 26-36) have tried to tell the guys that even though the woman may not tell you upfront that they will become emotionally attached, it just happens, because it is in the woman's nature.

ANyway, just wanted some thoughts and ideas on the subject. Thanks.

I think the age group has more to do with it over the sexes.

If the women were closer to the guy's ages, they would agree. In high school I got attached to very few people. But as women get older, their need for a family grows, as it is in their nature. Guys rarely get this way, as it is in their nature to fuck as many women as possible and move on.

It's all the age.

It breaks down to needs. Guys just need sex, which includes both the mature ones who want family, and the ones who don't. Most women don't want fuckbuddies, but emotional satisfaction, regardless of their personal desires.

Guys also dont change based on a biological clock, but on maturity and the way they were raised and the influences of their relatives.

Your definition of guy does not include most guys out of puberty, Darcler. In their 20s guys are sluts. Most guys who settle down are more trustworthy then women, who still have vastly changing emotional needs, whereis guys simple sexual desires are much more easily met.

This goes down the line to the platonic friends argument. Women generally can't be fuck buddies because of the desire for emotional attatchment. Men can't be platonic friends with a woman they find attractive because they want to fuck her until her head falls off. Women with supposedly platonic male friends are using them to meet their emotional needs, and men with fuck buddy women are using them for sexual enjoyment.

So in conclusion the only women who can be fuck buddies are women with platonic male friends to leech emotional satisfaction from, and that is generally women in the 18-26 age group.

Filling the emotional needs of a girl for years on end is like a long-term investment. I think mine is beginning to pay off after about 9 years now.

We're not fighting over a relationship breakup that lasted as long as one of my better farts.

Not that I ever need reason to fight with anyone on here...I do it out of boredom on the days I'm not out and about. The thought that any of you sit and think of new ways to insult me fills me with a sense of accomplishment. Most of you are pretty pathetic at your attempts nontheless.
