I used to love a guy wearing Polo but then an ex bought it at the end of our relationship and ruined it for me.
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.
I stoped using anti-persperant mostly. I dont care if I stink, because I dont like the people I'm around all day.
Additionally I stoped washing (shampoo, conditioner) my hair save five or six times a month, besides the rats-nest look, not washing out the mass of hair I shed keeps it down so its not all poofy frizzy afro like.

I guess you subscribe to the "if they don't know me, they shouldn't judge me" philosophy common to the fringes of society. Just remember that as you judge someone wearing suspenders and a shaved head.

Im super late coming into this thread, but
For men, hugo boss is definitely my favorite. It's a sweeter smell that doesn't smell like all of the other colognes there are for men (imo, almost all mens colognes smell the same)
Issey Miyaki is "ok", but it's much better in the women's than the men's, I think. Perfume for me is also Hugo for women.. Hugo just makes good stuff.
