Wireless broadband is kinda spotty at best btw.

Around here, it IS possible to get point-to-point microwave connections for places that don't have broadband. Whether it's possible out in BFE, I dunno. The other possibility you might consider is contacting the phone company about getting an actual T-1 or fractional T-1 line. Now, you'll pay for it, 200-500 a month, but if you have no other options, and can afford it, then it IS an option. The one benefit to a T-1 line (or fractional) is that it is considered business-grade service, and as a result the service levels on it are nuts compared to any other internet connection. For example, for many of them, for every half hour you're down, if you ever go down, you get a full 1 day refund. Possibly more.

oh so update on this, we lost that house

but it's absolutely ok, because after we lost that house we found out not only did someone kill themself there, but the home failed the inspection miserably with problems with the foundation

we DID get a house about 15 times better for 7k less than that crappy one - it's also bigger, prettier, and in better shape (and it has cable !) so i'm a happy camper. we close on the 28th. i'd post the mls report link, but i dono what the rules are on that and if i can post it all willy nilly.. id imagine i can, but i don't know O.o 10sun can clear that up for me though!

Adam - we are getting a hell of a deal, primarily because of where it is (kind of in the country, tiny town, not a lot going on out there) and because the real estate agent didn't do quite enough research on the market to price it properly. After our offer got accepted it's gotten about 5 more offers.. and 2 other offers went in with mine. They rejected a full offer because it was a previous owner that was apparently a nightmare to deal with and took ours for 5k less than list.. I'm not quite sure what the other offer was.

I'm really excited.. but not yet sure what were going to do with so much house =b ours now is like 1100 sq ft.

Very nice house, Gyps, We just bought a house last weekend, but would look like a shit-shack compared to the nice house you got :cry:

hehe, how far did you have to move your stuff? shit we had to move like 6 blocks and it took a whole weekend.

I just don't get it, the first time I moved, it all fit in one carload and one trip, now on move number 7 in the past 7 years and now I have to fill multiple trailers of crap.

heh if you want to laugh, I could look up the old house (trailer) we used to live in for some laughs.
