I saw a fight and stuff this weekend.

So I took my boys for a home cooked meal from Denny's this weekend. There was a fight in the restuaraunt. Now, I know what you are thinking, and it is a nice neighborhood. Here is what happened. Apparantly, two boys were in the bathroom (not mine) and some man exposed himself. They went back to their table laughing about it, and the mother asked her sons what was so funny. When they told her what happened, she apparantly had them point the man out who was having lunch with another male friend. She walked up to the table and punched the guy square in the face. This woman was tiny, and within seconds she had this 6'0" 250 pound man on the ground cowering like a child. The police showed up within 2 minutes after most patrons (including myself) just sat and stared and wondered WTF?!?

They arrested her for assualt and battery, and they arrested the guy too.

I hope she doesn't get into any trouble. It was sad because she had to call her husband to come pick up the kids from Denny's while she was sitting in the police car waiting for him to get there, and the boys (about 10 and 11 I guess) where crying.

I think if it would have been me, I would have done the same thing. She was screaming and punching and hitting, and the guy just did nothing. I think he was afraid he would have broken her.

i don't think it's a matter of size, moreso that for a lot of young men the stream is too high-pressure to be safely striking a vertical porcelain surface less than 6 inches without considerable collateral urinary "friendly fire"

they have those stupid "Falcon Waterless" urinals at my college, saves 15 bajillion gallons of wasted water per year or whatever, but i won't use them (see above)

Odds are the stupid cunt overreacted and needs to be pistol whipped repeatedly for being a stupid cunt.

However, if it turns out the guy has a history of sexual predator tendancies towards children, she should be allowed to pistol whip him repeatedly.

The woman should be charged with assault. If the incident in the bathroom is true, the the guy should be charged to the extent of the law.

There were many ways could have handled the situation, walking over there and attacking him was not the right wya to handle it. The fact that she is a smaller woman is meaningless. If this situation have been reveresed and the little woman had done something to the 6' 250lb guy's children and he walked over and started laying into her, people woudl be screaming about assualt.

What is sad about this situation is she put herself into the position to have to call her husband to pick up the kids while she sat in the squad car waiting for him to pick them up. Had she handled the situation differently it wouldn't have ended that way.

I really like the French Toast Slams at Denny's.

It's the only resturant I'm aware of that I can get french toast at any time of day =)

You can go to almost any local diner and get breakfast any time of the day. The food generally has flavor to it, too.

Well, I know you can get Waffles any time at Waffle House, but they don't have French Toast. I've only been to Ihop a couple times, but I actually wasn't too impressed with their French Toast.

Local diners I'm suspicious of.

So those are the only places I know of to get breakfast food all day long. And out of those, I like Denny's the best. French Toast + Bacon + Eggs any time of day, at a reasonable price = teh win.
