I am not creative

I always thought I was very creative when it came to creative writing, and story telling, etc, but we are learning about different tests, like IQ tests and that creativity has a small relation to intelligence in Psych class, and we had to take this test to jusge our creativity, and I only got 8/30 and that's because I overheard one of the answers.

Oddly enough, we alos learned that soem IQ tests are biased against minorities, so she made us take a quiz geared towards black people, and I got all but one of those right. I think I might be part African American, or just really fucking smart, just not creative.

No, it means that "bias" is a crock of shit. Most of what you "learn" in psychology is also a crock of shit.

You're not going to learn anything useful in psychology unless you're in it for more than just introductory.

It has been proven that people who have a better social standing do better on IQ tests, those with better social advantages.

none of you weiners have any idea what you are talking about, whatever the hell intelligence means in the first place, there are 100 definitions for it and 100x's more factors involving what makes up intelligence.....

of course IQ's are biased racially and Socioeconomically.... IQ's measure some set of definitions that people came up with to define intelligence.... it is like the SAT all it measures is knowledge in a set of tasks that do not determine performance or aptitude for shit...

if you can memorize answers on something that measures intelligence and get a high score on it, it doesn't measure intelligence or creativity or anything else, it measures a set of information

IQ isn't (or shouldn't be) a test of social skills. It's simply (in the right implementation) a test of brain function, period. A lot of IQ tests are wrong and ARE biased but that isn't to say there aren't tests out there that are a good indicator of one's intelligence.

A TRUE IQ test isn't something you can study for or memorize in the least.

A true IQ test isn't one you get off the internet, Boybutter. It is actually administered by a doctor in a one on one environment. I scored pretty well on my IQ test, but that doesn't mean I am intelligent about everything.

Not really, Kizz. Memorization depends on brain function and how well the synapses in the brain transmit and store information. Also, how well they access and recall said information. No real intelligence required to perform those normal body operations.
