My girlfriend gave me my birthday present today. After I left for work at 7:30 she called in her mom, my mom, and my grandmother and they all completely redecorated my room. They painted the walls, got a new cushion for my bowl chair, a rug, she made me a shadowbox, new pillows, all kinds of cool stuff. I was incredibly impressed. In 8 hours they put on a coat of primer, two coats of the red paint, did the ceiling and angled walls a khaki color, and got all the new stuff added/arranged. :wub:

A shadowbox is kind of like a picture frame that is a couple inches deep. You decorate the inside with pictures or small items. She made one with pictures of us and then had like little square mirrors and ribbon and such. I'll post some pics later of the room and of the shadowbox.

All of her friends are my good friends. You forget she was my best friend for 9+ years.
