This sucks. Can't a franchise this fucking big do better than Nick Saban? can't they get a better QB than Ferotte? Christ...

Who do you think they should get instead of Saban to coach? Maybe their plan this year is to play for Matt Leinhart of USC.

Never thought of that. the only problem is that it seems like these stellar college quarterbacks don't always pan out. Every once in a great while do you get a Manning or a Bledsoe. The best end up being virtual unknowns in college.

Saban might end up being an awesome coach because supposedly he can recruit/ judge talent very well. I just didn't see anything stellar about his record. I do admit he has more potential than the last guy though.

Have you seen the roster Saban inherited? I'd say he's done a hell of a job with what he's been given.

Miami got the best coach available. It takes time to input a system and get the skill players needed to turn a franchise around.

Jimmy Johnson won one game his first year in Dallas. Good thing they didn't fire him then.

I don't think he will be able to swing a Walker deal though.

Unless Ditka got back into coaching then you can do a similar deal with Ricky Williams.

Saban's doing pretty good. Gruden on the other hand inheritted a superbowl team, and promply turned them into wildcard hopefuls.

The bucs are doing a good job of righting that ship. I'm not a huge gruden fan either, but they are looking good this year.

Also, I think you're drunk Ouchy. Quarterback is the one position where you can usually predict success based on college. 7 out of 12 starters in last years playoffs were first round picks. Out of those who weren't, two of them were very early second round picks.

The only virtual unknown who ended up being one of the best is Brady, and he is a major exception, not the rule.

My son... once you learn that the Bills > Dolphins - the happier you'll be. You're life will improve - you'll get laid a lot more often.

Embrace your inner hidden love for the Bills.

I assume you are referring to the team this year. If you are referring to franchise history, you are smoking crack.

Remember that Superbowl that the Bills won? I don't!

Dolphins’ longest win streak against the Bills: 20, (10/18/70 – 10/14/79)

All time: Miami 49, Buffalo 32 (1 tie)

Buffalo can go fuck themselves. I prayed every game for Jim Kelly to get the life knocked out of him.

Fuck Buffalo, but not as bad as the Jests though.

The season is still young my friend, Sage should be starting next week in New Orleans, when we feast on the worst defense in the league. Hopefully Linehan will not be a fucking retard and pass the ball 40 times, and actually run the ball with Ronnie 20-25 times, and give Ricky 10 carries, since we do have two good RBs. Gus did splendid when we ran short timed routes against Denver, but ever since Linehan has tried to open up the field and the vertical passing game and it hasn't worked. Hopefully he learns that!

That can be said about every draft, at every position, in every round, for all time. You can't draft with a "Well what if it doesn't work?" mentality, then you couldn't pick anyone. The point was that most successful quarterbacks are high draft picks.

Didn't the Dolphins have him for a bit? I was in and out of the NFl loop the last 2 years.

The fish can always go trade for Harrington. He's not doing anything now that Garcia is starting.

Drew Brees? He's 6th in the league by DPAR, fifth by DVOA.

Philip Rivers or Eli Manning, depending which one you give them credit for. Either one has a ton of potential. We'll see if they actually pan out.

LDT? Hey, his passing DPAR is better than that of quite a few quarterbacks in the NFL right now.

Dolphins should have traded for the 2004 Auburn backfield. Jason Campbell, Ronnie brown, and Cadillac Williams. Couldn't be worse.
