I cant come up wiht a single reason they are not #1. They have had 1 close game this season with Ohio State, the second closest game was 42 - 17. They just steam rolled over TX tech, at one point they scored 6 consecutive TD's on 6 possesions. I guess if things go well we might get to see TX vs USC in the rose bowl. If USC plays TX like every one and lets them get a big lead early, I dont they would be able to make that comeback like they have against other teams this season.
On a side note, I think the only real game TX has left this season is A&M just because when those 2 teams come together then rest of the season is meaningless.
For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.
I certainly wouldn't want to be Nebraska atm. Their loss to Missouri, 17 unanswered points in the 2nd half. Not saying Missouri is a bad team but come on being held scorless in teh 2nd half is just bad.
Baylor needs to enjoy this week as much as they can with TX Tech and then TX for their next 2 games.
