For those of you in The Exiles
Hey guys, I know some of you who post here are still in The Exiles, and I am sure my post in the guild forums will get nerfed as soon as the officer who I am writing about sees it. So I am going to explain to you here why I left today.
I was on my alt and I said something about my main (talking in third person, answering a question or something, ex. Adivina tailors, etc) and Soulo sent me a tell not knowing that I was Adivina, saying: "I hate Adivina, I wish she had nothing to do with this guild" and some other things.
This answers my question of who has been talking shit about me to the guild leader, and taking things that I have been told to do by officers (ex instruct warlocks on a raid on what they should be doing) and turn it into something to complain to Strauss about and get me in trouble.
I love The Exiles, but I will not say in a guild where an officer is purposely trying to make my life hell, there is just no way it can turn out well.

I knew it was dead Taxx, but I stayed with them because I had some sick sense of loyalty, I figured i would go down with the ship, so to speak.
I can deal with being in a dying guild, I can't deal with people being too big pussies to tell me how they feel. Soulo loved to ask me for favors and help with groups all the time, yet he "hates me", pussy.

He knows well and good what he did, and I am posting it here as well because I am not gonna let him or anyone else talk shit about why I left. He has officer powers on the board, and I am sure because what he did wasn't compliementary it will be deleted or modified.
(not sure if you were calling me a pussy mo)
And IF, I always had a ton of respect for him and I liked him just fine until he pulled this drama.

He was invited to Wanderers earlier...and you didn't tell me when you said someone said something to you that it was him, so now there isn't much anyone can do unless he messes up on his own.
Not trying to be insulting, or rude or anything, not name calling but just saying he was invited already..didn't know he was the one you had the problem with.

Of course the guild is dead... everyone quits and joins Wanderers. I should be glad to feed the Wanderers B-team I suppose. We're apparently a guild of quitters. Maybe we should add that to our recruitment criteria...
Sorry to vent... definitely not directed at you Adivina, I was never really let in on what all happened with this incident. I suspect less people are badmouthing you than you think. Will miss you.

You should stop for a minute and question "Why did everyone leave for Wanderers?" I'm quite sure that it wasn't all for loot. I know that isn't why I left months ago, and I know that isn't why a number of your members left recently.
Since you are an officer, I should ask, how did you not know there was a problem before all of this happened? No offense to you personally, but nobody seemed to notice for a long time when anyone has been unhappy with the state of the guild until it was too late.

Don't kid yourself... they left for the loot, or at least the raid experience which implies loot (your, ahem, "reason" apparently aside). And if they left because they can't get along with the handful of people in our guild, then best of luck dealing a behemoth like Wanderers. Reasons I know people leave....
Loot / Raids (or shortage thereof)
Personal issues, or resulting drama
Friends in another guild
Quit the game entirely
Cyber~
Look, its not like we raid every night. I don't group with every single person in the guild every single night. If someone doesn't say something, I have no idea whats going on. I've known ahead of time over and over who is going to leave -- trouble is by the time they say anything that even hints at it, its too late to change their mind (and whats the point anyway? you just delay the inevitable). Guild chat is generally friendly and proper. Nope, things are peachy, except about once every month or 2 some folks cause a ruckus
Lately is seems like half this crap happens in teamspeak... which I'm not participating in. If its worth saying, you can go to the trouble of typing it I say. Anyway, everything in ts turns into hersay at that point.
On the subject, what am I supposed to do about our retention? Recruit a million more people? Tried that, but not many 60s to go around (and its not like we can promise MC raids) which leaves lower level folks to nurture a bit; half of them leave by the time they hit 60. Ok, maybe merge another guild? Disaster. Twice. Alliance with another guild or 2? Perhaps, but people always seem to seek out and amplify drama. And that assumes everyone is leaving to raid, which is only half the story. Half the folks that left today were officers which tells me they threw in the towel a long time ago (fortunately a certain Mr. Negativity was among those)
I give up... I'm just gonna pvp. If theres one thing we can all agree on its that Alliance should all DIE!

The guild died because nobody showed any initiative. YOU needed to start the raid group not ride of Wanderers coattails. Of course if they're leading it they're going to tend to want to join that guild. I don't care anyways I have guildchat turned off because of all these gimps that have joined lately.

Not sure whats that supposed to mean... the only time I ever group with Wanderers folks is in BG, and its usually only a couple matches before I get booted to make room for another Wanderer. Its no matter though.
Or maybe you think the half-dozen folks sitting in on team-b were riding the coat-tails by stealing trade secrets? Riiight. CLUE: most of them joined Wanderers today.
I've/we've tried prodding people to do stuff. Scheduled things, never enough show. The problem is the guild is just soft. In part because of the constant attrition. But partly theres just not much dedication or interest from the bulk.

Way to make my point for me. Way to show your team spirit.
You staying would not have single-handedly saved TN. Everyone must choose. And the people left today don't really set us back any further than we already were. This thread is about Adivina leaving, and lets try to stick to that.
It's still funny that people think they have an automatic invite to Wanderers. The only people who were allowed in were people who raided in the Wanderers raid group. That's ALL that The Exiles even did. Hence riding coattails. Hell half the time you guys had problems getting 5 man groups set up. I never once said that me staying would have "saved" anything. Mostly because half the members were 5 hours a week players. What I said long ago is that the officers were horrible, that and the Minnesota clique are a bunch of fagmasters.
More like a dozen, and what exactly else does the guild do other than have thunder bluff meetings once in a while? Answer: nothing. Your biggest assets were Kungmoo and Deathblaze but they saw what was happening long ago.
Yes mostly because I cannot stand the new jackasses that have joined the guild lately.
And I have no problem with you being in pvp with us. I usually try to keep you around longer than most of the other players because I know you're a good Shaman and actually defend. But if we have people from the guild wanting in the group I'm sorry but your spot is going to get filled. We won't be like Ixtlan though and not let you know why or not group you at all or just boot you and say FU get lost like they do.

The guild name with a space wasn't available. Come on couldn't you come up with something better then that to complain about or are you really just that bored?
Sounds like your still bitter that we didn't hand over The Nameless guild to you.

For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.
