Dolphins...sigh

Where everyone discusses football, and two dorks try to pretend people actually like the NBA and spam what should be in PMs.

The last good one was Dan Fouts.

Drew Brees? He's 6th in the league by DPAR, fifth by DVOA.

Philip Rivers or Eli Manning, depending which one you give them credit for. Either one has a ton of potential. We'll see if they actually pan out.

LDT? Hey, his passing DPAR is better than that of quite a few quarterbacks in the NFL right now.

Manning looked pretty good against the Broncos yesterday especially on the winning drive.

I haven't seen many Giants games in their entirety this year, but Manning has looked pretty good in my limited sample size (damn my northern exposure and DirectTV's monopoly on the Ticket). I'm not sold on him yet though, simply because he's played quite a few suspect defenses thus far. It'll be interesting to see how he holds up over the second half of the season as the Giants' schedule stiffens up a bit. If Manning's stats suffer from the improved competition, watch the pundits start talking about sophmore slumps and how he's wearing down.

I wouldn't call it playing...more like...pretending.
