Gus Frerotte please die now

Post by Ouchyfish »

WTF???! Is this team completely incapable of finding a QB anymore? Son of a fucking bitch, They would have been better off tellin Marino "You want this fucking ring-go play the second half!"

All that team needs is a quarterback! The defense looked solid! the running game looked solid despite tipping their hand on half of their plays.

Damn I hate this "building for the future" shit. Next time I fuck something up, I am going to use that damn excuse.

Trade for Phillip Rivers in the offseason, or move up and draft Leinart.

Gus is a stopgap measure to keep the team competitive this year, which he has done (occasionally).

The kid Miami got from San Diego, Cleo Lemon, is a playmaker and may be their long term answer, but he's still very raw.

Gus is just here this year to fill in because they needed a QB for this year and he knew Scott Lineham's system. AJ Feeley would have been starting if it wasn't for Scott Lineham being here. We need to start Sage Rosenfels and see what he is all about, cause he hasn't gotten his time to show us.

A lot of the teams with a bad record this year have their QB of the future, so they might want to trade down or not even select a QB. Matt Leinert is a bit of a stretch unless we really start to fall apart. The NFL QB free-agent list isn't that bad.

Lemon was horrible in college and won't be anything in the NFL. He completed 49% of his passes in college. He will be lucky to make the practice squad next season, although some have said he could be a diamond in the rough...
