What if you played non stop on a vacation week? It could be done.

I don't know what my rank will be on Tuesday, but it will be my first one, and I am very excited.

I did play non-stop on the weekend but thats not enough to get you to rank 14. You have to have the MOST honor on your faction for 3-5 weeks straight. With us raiding 3-4 nights a week theres no time.

unless you pvp 8 hours a day, every day AND are good at it, AND are jabowning relatively decently ranked people you won't make rank 14

That makes me a sad bunny. I think I should be a Stone Guard tuesday..... I know thats pitiful compared to Kezz and IF, but it makes me happy.

no exaggeration... the current rank 14 horde on my server has multiple people playing his account just so he could get there

There was a great post on it on blizz's pvp and general forums. Basically you have to get standing 1 every week for many weeks. He basically tracked and stacked the top players on his server to understand how standing and CP played in. He had a theoretical example based on what he figured out about the ranking system and concluded that if you got standing 1 every week, it would take you 17 weeks to rank up to 14. Ouch?

Kezz, I'm sure you could get it if you wouldn't raid so much... me though, I work my fingers off pvping and I'm "only" going to get 250k this week. This is unfortunately where pugs fall short against the guild groups ... I just can't compete. Our top players are dominated by a handful of guilds. I'm just in it to see how far I can get (goal: mount), and besides, its fun.

Grunt is what I do when taking a shit. It's an appropriete (omg sp?) ranking for me.

On a side note I never cared much for ranks...till I got cheap potions at Stone Guard. Then the rest of my ranks I've just gotten while helping Taxx get his mount.

Centurion tomorrow for me. Have been 3 Grand Marshalls and 3 Grand Warlords on my server. And there life is PvP. I'm only pvping serioulsy so i can save 800g on an epic mount.

The irony of course is that with the same time invested you could probably farm 100x as much gold. I pretty much break even pvp'ing. Difficult to save much money when you loot about 3s per kill assuming their corpse hasn't despawned by the time you can spare a moment.

that was actually one of the things that lead to my boredom with the game

Running a hunter is expensive compared to most other classes, and I only played twice a week, and only to raid

it got so that I didn't have time to mine, nor time to farm for shit to get gold so I could buy arrows, potions, etc etc

PvP was pretty fun, but got really monotonous because just like the rest of wow, there was no real point to it

PvPing is fun. Farming Tyrs Hand with 20 other farmers, is not.

I could get 900g in a week, no prob. I get Lt. Gen in multiple months.

Did I know what rank I would get a robe or anything at before I got the rank and you told me? Nope, so I sure wasn't doing it with the intention of getting me stuff. And why are you putzing around here? Go pvp so I never have to play hours upon hours ever again!
