hehe, and here I was feeling good about being 12-1 in both my pick'em leagues. In my money league, I bet it all on NE! I'm 5th in weekly standings, but the 4 above me picked Indy to win, if NE wins bring on the cash.

He was bad but not as bad as Maddox against the Jax. Batch's rating for the game was 39.8. At least he didnt make many mistakes like Maddox did.

Steelers did lose their best linebacker, Farrior, to a knee injury though. He will be out at least 2-3 weeks.

it's crazy what Minnesota does when they lose a quarterback. It seems like their thinking is:

Ok, this year our backup will be in his 13th+ season (Randall Cunningham, Warren Moon, Brad Johnson, etc.....) so he'll have one hell of a season, then get tossed to the cleaners and we search again next year... I'm honestly surprised Daunte made it this far without seriously getting hurt. Vikes go through QB's about as fast as rabbits hump.

I'm predicting Minnesota to finish near .500 w/ Brad at the helm... it's sad, but maybe even the playoffs if the east doesn't send every team possible to the wild card.

I don't understand why brad johnson has bounced around so much

he's a pretty ok QB

he's what, ~60% completion lifetime passer, ~150td : ~100int

He'd be a really good fit for a lot of teams (anyone with a good running game, and OK O-line)

I always liked Brad Johnson. I don't think he fit well under Denny Green, or perhaps he took part of the blame from Denny for never making it passed the first round of the playoffs.

He was like, John Elway compared to Wade Wilson.

I agree he was better than Wade Wilson, I still can't believe they had Rich Gannon as 2nd string compared to Wade back in the way early 90's after Tommy Kramer left... heck I think Sean Salsbury would have been better than Wilson if he ever moved up from 3rd string and actually got some playing time.

eh, wade wilson wasn't a bad QB at all

In 1988 (with Minnesota) he led the NFC with a 91.5 quarterback rating, completing 204 of 332 passes (61.4%) for 2,746 yards, 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions. His 61.4 percent completion rate led the NFL that season.

Well, the saints are just a quagmire that could make any good player terrible

don't get me wrong, I'm not claiming he was a good/great QB, at worst, he was average, and at times he was pretty good

The Eagles Keyshawned Terrell Owens for the year. Most likely they will release him at the end of the season so he can kiss the 6 million dollars roster bonus for next year good bye.

Today Owens and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, were on tv apologized to just about everybody on earth and asking the Eagles to reinstate him.

So far the Eagles is standing firm on there decision.

The Eagles will not be letting him back, and this was merely a ploy by Drew and T.O.

The best thing yesterday was when Rosenhaus, T.O.'s agent was asked what he has done for his client in five months, other than get him fired.

Did you hear that guy? Jesus Christ what a whiny little bitch. If someone did an exaggeration of the most obnoxious nasally puke of a sports agent, it'd be the performance he put on today. After listening to that episode I can actually believe 90% of this debacle is his fault. If I was T.O. I wouldn't even fire the guy, I'd break his head in front of the media and give him a mushroom stamp on the mouth.

Rich Gannon 1991: 59.6 Comp %, 2166 yards, 12 TD's, 6 picks. 1992: 57.0 Comp %, 1905 yds, 12 TD's, 13 picks. Gannon is now done.

Jim McMahon 1993: split the season w/ Sean Salisbury 60.4 Comp %, 1968 yds, 9 TD's, 8 picks. Done

Warren Moon 1994: 61.7 Comp %, 4264 yds, 18 TDs, 19 Picks. 1995: 62.2 Comp %, 4228 yds, 33 TD's, 14 Picks. Warren Moon is done.
