Gads going back to my first Geek name...back in the late 80's before Al Gore Invented the internet my first name was Mr.Chipps. Also went by the name of the Stoned Prohpet. However that was like a few life times ago.The name came about because at that time I was running a fairly big BBS system and I was doing multiple 12 packs of Mountain Dew to keep awake while working. During the days at school I looked like I was stoned off my gourd due to lack of sleep.

Back in the day on the net (we're talking BitNet here, actually, so you KNOW it's old school, like 1990 or so), I went by Limekiller, after the character in Bloom County. (smartass sarcastic wiseguy who charms his way into the Bloom boarding house by speaking french to Milo's grandmother, but what he really said was that her ears looked like fish heads). Main thing I did back then was a chat thing called Relay, which was later adapted for use on the Internet and became Internet Relay Chat, aka IRC. (bet almost no one else knew where the "Relay" part of IRC name came from)
