To the old BODers who raided Ntov....

Postby Maeya » Thu Nov 17, 2005 9:13 pm

Going through my hard drive I found a screenie you might get a kick out of... especially those who happened to be on the raid at the time. I present to you, the super secret elite strats of BOD's Ntov raids:

Damn, your screeen was polluted. I bet playing EQ for you was like watching Bloomberg Television.

Hehe yeah it was pretty bad =) I believe this was before the different UIs started coming out, or at least before I was aware of them. I have no idea what my resolution was at for that but it looks like 800x600 or something.

That was one of my first few raids with BOD. I won a Claw of Lightening from Eashen because it was going to rot. I thought that was sooooo uber. I was so freaking proud of that damn claw =)

I'm such a noob

Nice one.

I had a screen shot of when Brieze slipped her cyber tell during a ssra raid. I wonder where it went.

I will have to search.

She was getting crazy with it, like whoa, style.

ROFLMAO Spliffs...i remember that. Lots of good times with BoD raids. I was hoping someone had a screenshot of my Drunken raid leader in BoT towers when i sent multiple people to their death by telling them to go right instead of left.....

I DO have that =) With Enot correcting you. I will post it when I get home.

I also have one of our first Emp raids where Issk was doing "the count down" to the pull and everything aggroed early.

I was getting a kick out of old screenshots last night.

I don't believe that you got loot. Surely one of Xarton's alts could have used it.

I cannot believe you jackasses would follow that asshat around like little lost puppies.

I had fun in that guild too. I remember I was doing stuff with gaypickup and Xarton yelled at me for killing the guild's raid targets lol The best times I ever had in BoD was raiding with Borael as the raid leader.

Who remembers Borael and the cubby? And who remembers Borael's sexual obsession with the Ring of Slime? *stares at Gypsiyee*

BoD was a very low pressure guild. Any of the other guilds I was invited to at the time would have required me to play way more than I wanted to. "We expect you to be online 5 nights a week" etc. No thanks. I got to kill some stuff, hang out with some friends and if it sucked, I could log off without any drama.

Fun times.

I should find some screen shots of my UI on raids for you... I don't think I ever got a good look at most of the raid mobs I helped kill, over half my screen was chat boxes at 1280X1024 resolution.

! crazy ass gnome

those ss's were a bit after me Maeya, but it's good to see names like Leadsbane and Thraxor.. 2 of the funnest people in that guild when I was there

my BoD times weren't so nice =b a handful or 2 of the greatest people I've known in EQ, but another handful or 2 of the worst (/wave Cennyan, you selfish full of shit prick)

I remember when I left BoD.. had all intentions of quitting EQ entirely bcz almost all of my good friends that played (and were in BoD) quit, then I get a tell OH NICE THAT WE COULD GEAR YOU UP FOR CT.. got 2 items my entire 6 or so months there, and both of them were going to rot or go to Xarton's mecha army, god forbid someone actually use them.

BoD was on its way to the big things back in those days, before Xarton pissed off all his best players. :(
