I have All Access, but the few times I log into EQ ends up the same. Boring pickup group doing the same grinding bullshit.

I even picked up some cheap expansions through Gates of Discord, and the game doesn't seem to get better for me. :dunno:

If you offer good cyber, though, that might be what EQ is missing~

Yea I'm mostly just goofing around too playing a little bit during the day or on my nights off. I'll probably be on Hopeful or Hawtmuffin if anyone wants to do some ldon or needs help camping shit.

Once you actually progress through flags and keys etc. it gets fun IMO or mebbe I am to stubborn to give the game up I love to remember all the memories i have had through this game because then I can recall that part of my life seeing how I have 8 Computers hooked in the same room (knocked down a wall) so my friends tend to flock to my house and I remember some of those nights.

PS. PVPing on Vallon Zek back in the day cannot be replaced//And also how every GM event on the nameless more than likely always got Tarnished :wink:

I have no clue how to do any of that stuff. I quit when level 60 was the cap back in 2001 and the game isn't easy to pickup from a guild perspective anymore.

I levelled a Beastlord for fun, but I have no clue what to do endgame, especially since I'm not guilded and guilds seem to be more job apps last time I checked.

Plus, well, I'm a Type A evil overlord capitalist asshole, so it's tough for me to get into part time, non competitive, relaxed roleplaying guilds, although I keep trying. :dunno:

I'm playing eq again atm, and am in a guild that has a healthy raiding alliance. We like to kill stuff just because it's fun, but also have aspirations of progression. I've been leading most of the recent outings and it's really a great group of people that don't require the job application mentality since it's not just one guild that you have to join in order to participate.

For that matter, you could be guildless and still participate if you wanted to.

I played again for a while and got into a guild that raided Time and Ikkinz+

Had fun but yeah its a bit overwhelming starting over and trying to catch up...

I would most certainly play again on a fresh server though (one where they wouldn’t allow sever transfers no matter what), the game is fucking fun still.

I left off where I was with Infusion, being only a few hard mobs away from Time I think, farmed VT and all that.. I have some decent stuff according to my standards... but I don't think I'm willing to get that into the game again. You just can't duplicate the people and atmosphere you had with a guild you loved being in.

took longer to patch, compared to how much I played

as much as the content in EQ >>>> WoW, after wow EQ just looked like shit, moved like shit, and the windowed mode made baby jebus cry

Windowed mode is fixed now, recent patch made the program use the windows cursor, and if I'm not mistaken actually made windowed mode into a native app. I used to have problems when windowing that my desktop gamma would get shot way down and I'd have to manually bump it back up, now it seems to be working fine and I can see in places that used to be too dark even with gamma in game maxed.
