Well, I saw this coming

erm
he said the dog broke the window trying to get at the mailman, and now the mailman won't be coming back for a while
it kind of implies that the dog was trying to attack the mailma, but was unsuccessful
if it was just overexuberant in trying to lick the mailman, I think it would have been phrased that way

My dog broke the window scared herself and ran away, when I found her and she saw me she layed on her back because she knew she fucked up. If she wanted to kill the mail man she would have. She just likes to bark in the window and she managed to break the window by accident.
Poor Arrylas. Once every month someone goes postal on his ICP avatars.
That's my point. Gypsy (mine) could do the same thing. She's not trying to attack, she's not going to attack, and if she breaks our door window some day pawing up on it, I'm sure I'd find her with her head down and under the bed refusing to make eye contact.
Not everything that dogs do which people percieve to be aggressive, is. There's always a reason, it's usually preventable, and it's rarely the fault of a dog. 90% of the time it's the owners fault, improper training and what not, and 5% of the time it's provocation. The remaining 5% could be improper breeding, mental disease, etc. Dogs aren't like you and I. They really are naturally good.

You guys are all wrong. The dog attacked the window. Once she done that she went and laid on her back not because she knew she fucked up. The dog is resting up to gather energy to attack another window. The dog was smart enough to use the approaching mailman to masked her real intention.
How are you going to tell a dog onwer to shoot their dog? Dogs quickly become part of your family. If I had a dog that I knew was dangerous I'd still keep it. I'd just be careful to control it. Of course something could go wrong, but that's a risk I'd have to take. You don't kill family.
My pug is rather aggresive until it gets to know you, but even if it attacked someone what's it going to do? It's too small to hurt anyone ;p

You don't have kids and so you don't have that issue to deal with. Even a pug can do damage to a baby.
And all it would take is a bite in the right spot to hurt someone badly.

You have a dog named Gypsy too? I know this guy Scott....

Besides, I think she jumped on the couch like she always does at full speed like an asshole, slammed the couch into the wall and window (which tends to happen because of her big ass self torpedo-ing into it) and broke the window on the impact and promptly ran the fuck away to hide. The mail was still delivered in a neat little pile, so I think if she were trying to kill the mail lady, she would have thrown the mail in all directions and gotten the fuck out of there. LOL

I never said it did, my comment was more directed at Markarado. Once you have kids your perspective of what is safe and what isn't changes drastically.
