If you are Tony Dungy and...............
It comes to Week 14. You have homefield advantage locked up, do you rest your starters the last two weeks, to preserve them for the playoffs? Or do you PLay your starters to try and go 16-0, at the cost of possibly losing a starter to injury before the playoffs?

OK, Dungy will let Peyton & Co. play the 1st half each week. So... if you're Peyton & Co. you decide to turn up the wick and make sure you've run up the score by halftime so the dickweed 2nd string doesn't lose the game for you in the 2nd half. Peyton is a fucking robot, he can do this.
You play for history. You don't be a pussy and worry someone might get injured. You don't take the opportunity away from 52 guys to be remembered forever. I can't remember who won the last 10 super bowls without really thinking about it.
I can remember the only team to ever go undefeated even if I was in a fucking coma.

If Dungy sits his guys, it'll be over a month before the starters have to play another game.
That's way too much time. I can see sitting someone for a game, but for over 4 weeks? No way. Maybe some of their banged up people, but really they need to play for 16-0.
Although they could easily lose this weeks game which would nullify that and make the point moot.
