Barb Blade vs Dal Ren's set -- Faabio comment you jew

Postby Myg0t » Mon Nov 14, 2005 12:08 am

So ive seen some hunter go from useing a Barb blade to dal'rend's set, and visa versa, what is the best weapon set?

BB: Something like 53 melee dps
+1 % crit chance
+60 to attack power
Can only put one agi mod on it for a total of +15 agi

Dal'rend: Sacred Charge: 41.4 melee dps
+1 % crit chance
Tribal Guardian: 41.4 melee dps
100 armor
+7 increase defense
Set bonus: +50 attack power
Can put 2 agi mods on it for a total of +30 agi

bigger raptor strike crits on barb blade is the only better thing about it than dal'rends

most hunters i know are going to get much more mileage out of defense, armor and agi

Barb blade can usually drop in 1-2 Trib runs. I've run 30+ ubrs runs and only seen the mainhand drop once!

Yea mainhand is something like 3% to drop, and I got a barb blade on my last hunter in like 4 runs... so im prolly gunna getBB when I hit 58, then try to get dal rends after.

or just get two bone slicing hatchets for pve and use your epic staff for pvp or if you're really cool brutality blade and mainhand hakkari warblade

I'd go with the Dal rends for the fact that 30 agi = 60 RAP... which is adds up with the 50 AP from the set allready, so you are getting a total of 110 RAP.

Bone slicing is eh, you get a great agi bonus but you might as well melee unarmed for how much damage they do.

Recent sources tell me that Melee weapons with %crit effect range so i tend to use my epic stave with +15agi all the time now.

I've heard different claims to this.
In the 4 GMs i've talked to about this issue one said it didn't, one said he didn't know and two said yes.

But i'm just going to say yes now because i <3 Lok'Delar.
