I had some fun, just cause i had killed all the mobs we were raiding with GPU and i could laugh at the leaders when they gave the raids completely wrong information trying to kill stuff in SSra. I also enjoyed training and killing Mayliu repeatedly in PoI and pretending to be a ranger and kite that snake on the third floor of SSra (yay for seal raids ><)

We went from a dead guild to a planes raiding guild very quickly. But its only a game, and we make what we want out of the game.

BoD was home to some of the best players in EQ before they made the leap to high end raiding. A huge part of CT's, Euphs, and LoS's roster is former BoD. CT's current guild leader is ex BoD. I'll even say it was probably the best mid tier guild there was post Velious. That stuff doesn't matter though. I don't think I know anyone who was guilded with me in BoD that didn't enjoy themselves. Even those who never moved on to the higher end stuff.

I had shitloads of fun in BoD, up until VT the second time around...that killed it for me.

Issk leading raids was pure hilarity...it was a game to decipher his gibberish 90% of the time.

Enot and Mayliu are the only people I knew of who joined? Enot went MIA roughly 1 week after joining. Not sure if anymore Brothers joined, it's been about a year and a half since I dropped the axe on EQ. :\

Spliffs applied and would've gotten in for sure if it weren't for our loser enchanters at the time deciding to be fucktards.

Bludvl applied during my time and almost instantly dropped off the face of the earth.

Other than that, I vehemently vetoed any BoD member simply because of the shit they pulled in VT back when I was in Decade. Fuck those cocksuckers.

Hmmm I chose BoD over LoS, CT, SoS, Euphoria, etc because I couldn't commit to massive game time requirements of the other guilds but still wanted to "raid", have folks to group with etc. It was a good compromise of time/fun and I met some great folks.

EDIT: BoD's core original group always pretty much stayed the same. The people who passed thru BoD generally became great raid players.

Not my guild. I ended up leaving for CT. The reason we all left was because the guild core leadership sucked a cock. You're not pointing out anything new. I'm just saying I had a good time while I was there. Oh and Tandal, yeah I can relate. Xarton lit me up in tells when GPU killed King Tormax.

It always seemed that Infusion and BoD were fighting over mobs in Ssra. Kind of stupid when you look back on it. I also remember having a GM come in and make a decision a few times. Those were the good old days.
