i bet if you covered the economy of several games you could get 40 pages, WOW, EQ, EQ2, Hell even Diablo 2 has sellers for rare items

    That is a solid idea, tracing the real life economy brought about by online games.... As long as I could find 20 scholarly sources on it, I can do that. Scholary = not something some random shmuck put on his website <3 I'm sure there have been books and journal articles put out on the subject.

    It's definitely gotten a lot of press. I've had a number of friends that had no idea of my connection to MMOs mention randomly how they read about what a big business selling online items for games is now. There was even a study done by a university I believe.

    Start with that game that was designed around having an exchange rate to dollars.
