20 bucks, 10 expansions. Starting to wonder if it's worth trying. Wow was fun and I love what they do for the holidays but jesus fucking christ the game becomes insanely repetitive/BORING quick. I can't figure out yet why EQ didn't get old that fast.

Guilds and friends, the same with any MMO.

There isn't a dynamic changing MMO out there that isn't essentially repetitive or mostly static.

Plus, EQ has an assload of content and things to do.

for me it was more that EQ couldn't be soloed all the way to the level max, so you had to group, the CR's took forever, and essentially, if you waste 5 hours doing something you are going to be really pissed when you fail and either quit or try harder until you get it, EQ made you keep on trying harder and harder=outrageous timesink
